Hey, there! I'm Sitare Sadeghi (she/they), a proud queer, Sri Lankan-Iranian-American, and passionate multidisciplinary artist. Like a sponge, I strive to soak up as many artistic experiences to expand my creative endeavors.

Through song, dance, acting, and piano, I fuel my drive to accentuate underrepresented stories and create a safe space vacant of exclusion.
Born and raised in Maryland, my parents enrolled me in piano lessons as well as Traditional Persian and Kandyan dance classes at the ripe age of 4. As I got older, I knew I wanted to be a performing artist, but somehow, I still hadn't found what really clicked for me. It wasn't until high school, when I was asked to audition for a production of Cinderella, that I realized that I thrived off of empathizing with roles I've played, alongside connecting with fellow artists and audiences. I graduated high school ecstatic about my passions and pursued a BFA in Music Theater and a minor in Piano Pedagogy at Elon University. Since then, I've been graced with numerous opportunities, such as singing as a soloist for Kristin Chenoweth, performing as Natasha in ...The Great Comet of 1812, and working as a Resident Company member at Timber Lake Playhouse. Some fun facts about me: I'm trilingual (but I love to learn more languages), I'm obsessed with dark chocolate, adore animals (I have a dog named Hope), and enjoy binge-watching shows or playing piano in my free time!
Thanks for getting to know me!
